See your bookmark library clearly with Category Board

A folder tree is useful when you already know where a bookmark belongs. But when you want to understand an entire project, compare categories, or decide what should move next, opening one folder at a time hides the larger picture.

Category Board turns that hierarchy into a visual workspace. Each category becomes a column with its own color, bookmark count, and scrollable list. You can see the structure and its contents together without changing how your library is organized.

Why add a board view?

Different views answer different questions. Cards help you browse individual resources. List view makes dense libraries easy to scan. Category Board answers, “How is this collection divided, and where does each bookmark belong?”

See collections and categories at the right level

At the top of your library, the board shows collections as columns. Open a collection and the board shows its child categories instead. Every column includes the category color and bookmark count, while an empty Uncategorized column stays out of the way until it is needed.

Long lists scroll inside their own columns, and the category headers remain visible. When the board is wider than the screen, a horizontal control lets you move across columns without squeezing them into unreadable widths.

Move bookmarks where the work happens

Press and drag a bookmark to change its position. Drop it in another column to move it into that category. The interface keeps the destination visible and updates the order immediately so organizing feels direct instead of form-driven.

• Drag bookmark rows to customize their order.
• Move bookmarks between category columns.
• Drag category headers or use Move left and Move right to rearrange columns.
• Open a URL, note, or code snippet directly from its title.

Your custom bookmark order is shared with Cards and List, so the arrangement remains useful when you switch views.

Make the board reflect your workspace

Add a category from the final board column, then choose its name, color, and icon. Category colors appear along the top of each column and on location badges in Card view, creating a consistent visual cue across the workspace.

The gear menu in each category header keeps less common actions nearby without crowding the board. Use it to edit category details, change column position, or delete a category. Bookmark action menus appear when needed, while keyboard and touch users retain direct access.

Choose Cards, List, or Category Board

• Cards are best for visual browsing and seeing a bookmark’s collection or category at a glance.
• List is best for dense scanning, metadata, and working through many bookmarks.
• Category Board is best for comparing groups, rearranging resources, and understanding collection structure.

You do not need to commit to one layout. Use the view that matches the decision in front of you.

Start using Category Board

1. Open your BookmarkNa workspace.
2. Select Category Board beside Cards and List.
3. Open a collection to see its category columns.
4. Drag bookmarks or categories into the order that supports your work.
5. Add colors and icons that make important groups easier to recognize.
